Mission

Our mission is to empower families, youth and communities to become more self-sufficient through integrated and collaborative community based services.

We do this by collaborating with community residents and organizations (public and private) to provide services to prevent homelessness, increase financial self sufficiency, decrease youth violence and reduce the number of children from entering the child welfare system of care and increasing supports to families. We also collaborate with community residents and organizations to improve the quality of life for Ward 7’s residents.

Vision

All residents of Ward 7 will be aware of the unwholesome conditions that confront children and family life in this ward and the outcomes created by these conditions, and a coordinated, comprehensive plan will be developed to provide total child welfare and family service delivery.
