Youth Services Division

The Youth Services Division offers a variety of programs and services to strengthen families by supporting youth growth and development.

The Second Responder Program
Designed to stem the escalation of delinquent behavior by youth and young adults in Wards 7 and 8. ERFSC, in collaboration with community-based organizations and the Metropolitan Police Department, works with  at-risk youth who have been involved in criminal activity or who are on the fringes of gang activity and their families to help them identify the strengths that will enable them to become good citizens.

Youth Development and Leadership Programs
Assist individuals and organizations to develop and implement new and/or existing violence prevention and intervention programs.

Youth Activities
ERFSC works diligently with community partners to provide youth activities to the children of Ward 7. These activities include overnight and day camping, Lacrosse, basketball, football, and cheerleading.

Youth Resources Program
Assists youth in identifying apprenticeships, employment, camp, and recreational opportunities.
